The Corpus Christi Caller Times reports:
“Around 12:50 a.m., [police] officers responded to the 700 block of Snug Harbor Drive in reference to a shooting. The residents of the home said they “heard a commotion in an attached part of the house” and confronted a man and woman, Officer Gena Pena said.
“The 25-year-old man was shot by the homeowner and fled with another suspect, 22-year-old Kiran Rice, in a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Zulma Zepeda-Antunez.
“The man was found dead at a nearby motel, along with Rice and Zepeda-Antunez, Pena said.

“Zulma Zepeda-Antunez, 25, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for “dangerous drugs,” said Officer Gena Pena.
“Rice was arrested for burglary of a habitation. Zepeda-Antunez was arrested on an outstanding warrant for “dangerous drugs,” Pena said.”
