According to a story by Jeremy Wallace in the Houston Chronicle, Democrats, and no doubt snowflakes of all ages, think Governor Greg Abbott is not panicking enough over The Great Virus Scare.
“The Texas Democratic Party, meanwhile, is trumpeting that Abbott “continues to mismanage the coronavirus crisis every single day.”
“The party says Abbott was too slow in closing restaurants and bars and in issuing a statewide order to get people to stay home.
“Texas Republicans continue to downplay and mismanage the coronavirus pandemic,” party spokesman Abhi Rahman said. “Texans deserve thoughtful leaders that are ready to do whatever it takes to keep us safe.”
I have a question for the propaganda official of the Texas Democratic Party Abhi Rahman: Do you and your party truly believe that good leaders should indeed “do whatever it takes to keep us safe?”
Unless I missed something, that has not been your party’s position on our international borders; your officials are releasing dangerous jail inmates into our neighborhoods causing crime to spike according even to Houston’s police chief who is one of you, and; well before any virus scare Texas Democrats were successfully destroying the system of bail so that those arrested are quickly released on a promise to appear in the same manner you’ve treated illegal aliens.
But more interesting, Abhi Rahman, is that your Democrat party is mostly upset that Governor Abbott has been flexible to meet the needs of a diverse state and has not been enough of a tyrant for you. Is that what Democrats want? A governor who panics, shows panic, and obliterates our rights as well as our economy?
