Why is Julian Castro still running? | Sid Miller’s clever trick

Pratt on Texas - copyright Pratt on Texas all rights reservedIn San Antonio last week, neck-nuzzling, leg-hair-color-changing, creepy Joe “Biden didn’t mention any of the other Democrats in the presidential race by name during his speech to about 125 people, but when it came to Castro, Biden told the audience that he is a “great former mayor,” according the Express-News.

Julian Castro is still pretending to run for the Democrat nomination for president and yet last week a hometown state senator as well as the mayor of San Antonio who served before he did, endorsed creepy Joe Biden.

Julian “Commie” Castro

I’m not sure which is more odd, Joe Biden and his truly odd behavior and stories that come out of his mouth, or little Julian Castro still acting as if he has a chance to land the Dem nomination.

Indeed, Castro may be simply running to get the veep nod but to do that he should have gotten out early as as he no longer looks anything like popular even in his home city much less someone who could really give the Dems a chance to carry Texas – even in their pie-eyed fantasies. Given that, why would anyone pick him as a vice presidential running mate?

On a different note, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has a new show which premieres 21 January on RFD-TV called “Texas Agriculture Matters.” The show will promote Texas agriculture and related products “cattle to cotton and rodeos to rockets” and highlight “hooves, hide, hair, horns and everything in between.”

Austin press members are already obsessed with Sid and what he has to say and now he’s found a sneaky way to get these urban liberals to watch RFD-TV. Now that’s clever.
