The Houston Chronicle reported: “The incident occurred late Sunday around 10:30 p.m. when a business owner learned that someone was breaking into his business in the 6200 block of Jensen Drive, said Houston Police Lt. Christopher Bruce. Officers responded to the in-progress robbery, as well.
“The man went to the scene and arrived on his property, where he saw a teen, Bruce said. The man then fired his weapon at the teen and shot the teen in the ankle, Bruce said.

“The teen, who was conscious and breathing, was taken to a hospital. He is expected to survive, Bruce said.”
