TX 11 and 13 primary races should prove entertaining if not honest

It appears that there are 15 in the Republican Primary field with the elbow jabs already being thrown.

“Immediately after filing, Jackson came under criticism from businessman Chris Ekstrom, who is also seeking the Republican nomination. Ekstrom’s campaign issued a statement referring to Jackson as “Obama’s doctor,” noting his tenure in the White House during the Obama administration. Republican candidate Vance Snider also took aim at Jackson after his filing, noting Jackson’s lack of ties to the district,” the Scorecard story reported.

There is no county fair liars’ competition that can outdo a big primary when it comes to a lack of veracity.

In Texas 11th district, to replace Mike Conaway of Midland, at the time of writing the Secretary of State’s office shows 9 filed for the Republican Primary.

No doubt both of these races will be action packed given the size of the field and that the primary itself will most likely decide who is next to join the U.S. House from each district. Both TX 13 and 11 are heavily GOP districts.

Be ready to hear from people who already have a political record of raising taxes and big local spending telling you how conservative they are as well as those who have no record making similar claims.
