The tolerant liberals among us have another Texan to tar and feather and submit to an electronic lynching.
The oh-so tolerant and diverse Washington Post reports it this way:
“Georgia Clark, a veteran high school English teacher in Fort Worth, Texas, had an urgent request for President Donald Trump: She needed help pulling undocumented immigrants from her school. [That’s Leftist euphemism for illegal aliens.]
“Mr. President, Fort Worth Independent School District is loaded with illegal students from Mexico,” Clark wrote May 17 on her now-deleted Twitter account, @Rebecca1939. “Anything you can do to remove the illegals from Fort Worth would be greatly appreciated,” she wrote in another tweet.
“Clark was careful in her approach, she believed, and told the president she needed guarantees her identity would be protected when action was taken. “Texas will not protect whistle blowers. The Mexicans refuse to honor our flag,” she wrote.
“Clark says she didn’t mean for everyone to see her thoughts and requests on immigration. She says she believed the tweets were private between her and the president.”
The Fort Worth ISD teacher, Georgia Clark, is now being called everything negative in the book and could be subject to firing according to the story.
And herein you have another lesson from the Left: Standing for the rule of unpopular-with-them law is verboten. Diversity means sameness of mind on political, social, and religious issues and no diverse view will be tolerated by those who preach tolerance of differing views.
Catch 22 indeed. Joseph Heller would be proud.
Update: Fort Worth ISD to Recommend Termination for Teacher Who Tweeted to President Trump; Fort Worth ISD Board Votes to Fire Teacher Over Student Immigrants Tweet
1. A teacher who thinks Twitter is private is too dumb to teach.
2. Racist teachers have no place on any school
campus.
3. What you call “diverse” is the n fact racist.
4. You have identified yourself as racist white trash whose opinion are garbage.
Gerald,
1. To someone who doesn’t know, the direct message feature of twitter does appear private.
2. National origin (Mexican) has zero to do with race or racism.
3. You miss the entire point on the hypocrisy of racism because, as shown in #2, you do not know what it means.
4. Your 4th point proves the point of the entire column. Thank you.
First off the school should have backed her up if she was having trouble, also I bet most people are a bit racest in some situations I know I am but the worst thing is that people call others names as soon as they get a chance,
