Last week another poll came out from Quinnipiac which has historically, at least to my memory, under-predicted Republican performance in Texas. Of course no polls actually matter unless we all turnout to vote in big numbers but this poll showed a slightly larger lead for Cruz over O’Rourke than others released in the last ten days. Quinnipiac had Cruz leading by 9 points, 54 to 45 percent.
I commented last week how interesting I found the polls numbers that contradict the media narrative that people greatly dislike Ted Cruz and are charmed by Beto Pancho Lefty. The poll found Cruz with 52% favorability and only 45% favorability for O’Rourke.

The assistant poll director was quoted as saying: “O’Rourke may be attracting massive crowds, but Cruz has a better favorability rating.”
Women once again seem to be the biggest problem for Republicans with the poll showing Cruz getting the backing of almost two thirds of men while just slightly over half of women fall for the act of liberal Democrat O’Rourke.

But the biggest problem that Beto Pancho, fake Hispanic, O’Rourke has, aside from the fact that Republicans are a voting majority in Texas, is that the Quinnipiac poll found a majority of Texans approve of the job President Donald Trump is doing.
The latest Leftwing hit on Cruz is that he is working with Trump after all the nasty things Trump said about him and his wife in the campaign and that is terrible and shows Cruz to be weak. Given that Trump has a majority approval rating in Texas the liberal PAC ad that has taken this tack is yet another stupid liberal misjudgment of Texans.
