According to San Antonio police a homeowner on West Houston Street heard noises just before 11pm on Monday night.
Being a True Texan, prepared to defend life and property, the homeowner armed himself and went to investigate the source of the noise. According to a WOAI report, the homeowner found and shot the intruder.
According to a KENS report, the intruder was carrying a rifle and entered the house and tried to shoot someone at which point the intruder was fatally shot by the armed homeowner.

Both reports agree that the intruder died at the scene beginning the eternal dirt nap.
