KRIS-TV reports: “According to Senior Officer Travis Pace, with the Corpus Christi Police Department, says a preliminary report states a 21-year-old man was trying to break into the home through a window when someone inside the house fired several rounds [on Saturday.]”
When police arrived on the scene, they found 21-year-old Mark Anthony Rios dead.

Police say the person who fired the weapon was taken to the Corpus Christi Police Department headquarters for questioning.
No charges have been filed in connection with the shooting according to police.
