A troubled man called a “crisis line” from a San Antonio Chik-fil-A and “gave them some information indicating that he was in a great deal of stress. He expressed his intentions of what he was about to do…,” said San Antonio Police Lt. Scott Bell.
Bell did not specify what those “intentions” were but the man then went to a nearby liquor store, which he had visited before, at about 1:50pm yesterday and, according to police, backed a manager into a corner. The armed liquor store manager, in fear for life or of serious bodily harm from the aggressive man, shot the man several times.
The man who seemingly planned his attack at the liquor store began the eternal dirt-nap at the scene.
