The Houston Chronicle reports: “Houston police officers Monday were still investigating the shooting of an apparent robbery suspect by his would-be victim [at 2:20 a.m. Saturday.]
“There, a 22-year-old man told them he’d shot a man who was armed with a shotgun. The man, who has a concealed handgun license, fired and hit the suspect several times, police said.
“Officers located the suspect and the weapon, and transported him to a hospital. He is expected to survive his injuries.”
