- City voting on $60 million police project Monday – Such a large, all encompassing project should be put to the people in a bond issue vote – not by a council vote issuing CO’s. And we should all know what happens to Municipal Square and other very functional buildings after new buildings are constructed. Will they go on the tax roles as private office buildings or what? Personally I’d favor renovations for downtown structures over new constuction.
