Joaquín Castro never slammed the door shut on running for governor against Republican Greg Abbott in 2018, and he is one of a number of candidates who could emerge as the party’s nominee,” the Austin American-Statesman reported.
If you are not sure who is Joaquín Castro, he’s the twin brother of the former San Antonio mayor and Obama Administration secretary for Housing and Urban Development. The twins are celebrities of sorts for liberals in the Texas and national media as they are said to be the future of the Democratic Party.

Let me rephrase it, they claim to see racism and victimhood in everything but the two of them have lived fairly charmed lives so I suspect they adopt the radical view because they think they are standing up for others not as successful, or able (a form of soft bigotry itself.)
Texas’ Castro brothers are aptly named as their view of the world and government isn’t all that different from Cuba’s Castro brothers. Everyone not their political ally and friend is an oppressor and manipulator of the poor helpless masses and only they and their elitist liberal colleagues, through the power of an all powerful government, can rectify past and current wrongs.
Just a week ago Congressman Joaquín Castro was angry about Governor Abbott ordering free replacements for those who lost their handgun-carry license in the hurricane. Castro actually saw something nefarious in this.
