In Bexar County the sheriff’s office and Hollywood Park police arrested Chad Courtney, 20, on a charge related to carjacking.
According to WOAI, “Officials located the vehicle at an apartment complex an hour later. Courtney fled the scene until a homeowner found him running in the backyard. The armed homeowner, licensed to have a gun, kept Courtney in place until police arrested the suspect.”
The WOAI reporter, demonstrating ignorance so common in the media, appears to believe that there is a license to have a gun in Texas.
