KWTX reports: “The incident happened at 11:15 p.m. at Tee’s Smoke Shop located on 3528 North 19th Street [in Waco].
“Waco police… said the suspect entered the store wearing a ski mask, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.
“Police said the store employee took defensive action by drawing his own gun and firing at the suspect.
“The suspect was struck several times by bullets and ran away from the scene. He was dropped off at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest by someone else.”
