Among the most arrogant, self-centered affronts to our country and state we’ve had to endure these last many years, in an in-your-face fashion, has been the public protest demands of illegal aliens to be given special, extra-legal treatment beyond even that which a citizen enjoys.
By the fact that these folk are not even here under the terms of a visa, these people are not even guests in our state and nation and yet, they demand not only the rights of invited guests and permanent immigrants, they demand even more than that to which even a citizen is entitled. Many illegal aliens in our country, living here contrary to law, demand that they not be subject to the laws of the land in the same manner as are citizens.

How this disgusting level of hubris is ignored by so many is beyond full explanation. But one thing I know has gone through the heads of law-abiding Americans and legal immigrants time and again when seeing protests where admitted illegal aliens take to microphones and cameras to demand special above-the-law treatment is this simple and sane thought: Why does our immigration service not take these people into custody?
Rep. Matt Rinaldi
The regular Texas legislative session ended with great drama when state Representative Matt Rinaldi called Immigration and Customs Enforcement asking them to deal with the rowdy rabble disrupting the House, already vexing DPS, from the galleries who were there to press the case for illegal aliens getting to live outside the rule of law.
Media focus is upon a House floor scuffle and threats issued by Democrat reps to Rep. Rinaldi and what might or might not have been said by members in the heat of the issue. My focus is on the simple thought of why haven’t authorities been calling ICE each and every time people are standing up admitting their non-legal status while demanding our country change itself to benefit them?

Would a sanctuary municipality not act if a local scofflaw began showing up on morning radio bragging on not having paid thousands in local parking tickets?
How about the Feds? Do you think the IRS would not act if individuals constantly came before the media to brag about being tax cheats?
The extra-legal protection many loud-mouthed Leftwing interloping illegal aliens seek is intrinsically shocking. But the arrogance and narcissism displayed while making their improper demands is so disgusting and disrespectful to the citizens and legal immigrants of this state and nation that such behavior should result in arrest and immediate deportation no matter an individual protestor’s personal sob story.
Illegal aliens demand treatment not available even to citizens
