According to San Antonio police, at just before two-o’clock on Friday afternoon, a man broke into a home through a window which led into a bedroom in which a Texas woman was asleep.
She awoke, and being a True Texan “grabbed her firearm and shot at the suspect twice, striking him at least once,” police reported.
The home invader was taken to hospital at which he was later pronounced dead.
But wait, there’s more: The home invader, now taking the eternal dirt-nap, had brought along his 7-year-old son on the caper. “We’re gonna get help for him,” said San Antonio Police Chief William McManus.
