The constant claim from leaders in the Speaker Joe Straus cabal in the Texas House that the Texas Privacy Act, or bathroom bill if you will, is silly because it doesn’t address a real problem is balderdash. The Straus circle of leadership position on the bill is quite similar to that of the Democrats in the last few sessions telling us that Voter I.D. and other election integrity tightening was a “solution looking for a problem.”
You can join with Straus and the GOP Left, the Democrats, and much of the state media in your ignorance if you so wish on the issue of the bathroom bill but, all you do when you take that position is tell the informed that you choose to be an ignoramus worse than Democrats on election fraud.
The largest city in Texas, Houston, passed a pro-homosexual lifestyle ordinance that forced private property owners to make radical accommodation to those who choose to live their fantasies of being some other sex, blend of sex, or even no sex (all impossible) or face show trial and monetary fines in municipal court.
Other cities in Texas also have pro-homosexual lifestyle ordinances in-place now and you can make a good bet that such will be expanded to force citizens to make special accommodation for those who claim to be transsexuals. Houston jumped out a bit too far too soon.
Without the Obama Administration ever issuing an order that legally forced Texas school districts to let boys in the girls locker, bathroom, or similar, the suggestion alone was enough for multiple districts, both large and small, to jump forward to implement such policies.
As with voter fraud, but even more demonstrable, this never-ending demand that business and property owners change rules to please the perversion lobby is real and before us. To pretend otherwise is to collaborate with the perverse or to boast of one’s own ignorance.
Deniers of Privacy Act, or bathroom bill, legitimacy are ignoramuses
