The Houston Chronincle reports: A Spring homeowner fatally shot a man he said was an intruder who’d broken into his home, according to authorities.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable deputies responded to the 2400 block of Blue Shadow Drive just after 4 p.m., according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland.
The homeowner said he’d retrieved a gun and fired at the man who entered his home. Paramedics declared the alleged intruder dead at the scene.
