- TX19: Former Tech regents try to cover for Arrington – notice, they don’t refute the charges in the ad – tuition increase and increase in illegals because the charges are accurate. They simply attempt to deflect any responsibility from Arrington. However, Arrington has taken credit for tons of things at Texas Tech for which he isn’t directly responsible. He wants it both ways. What did he do to fight these tuition increases and rise in illegals as vice chancellor? Did he even testify at the legislature against either? Of course he didn’t.
