“Bland Hester, 47, survived his wounds after being shot around 12:30 a.m. at a home in the 1200 block of Main Street, police said, and no arrest has been made.
“Hester busted through the front door, grabbed the woman, started punching her on the face and tried to drag her outside, the man told police. The man said he retrieved a .22 caliber pistol from a bedroom, and when the woman kicked Hester off of her, the man fired six shots, he told police.
