Megan McMillan, President of the Texas Tech College Republicans issues the following statement:
“Since the Arrington campaign questioned the fairness and integrity of the college Republican’s’ debate, the officers of the club have agreed to voluntarily release all their emails with any of the campaigns regarding the debate. We have authorized Texas Tech General Counsel’s office to release those emails in response to an open records request from the Avalanche Journal. Those emails show that all we did was try to co-ordinate a debate, and we were not playing favorites with any campaign. It appears that the Arrington campaign had no basis for complaining about the debate.”
