“[Wichita Falls] Police say the first place that Nichols attempted to rob was the Executive Inn and Suites on Maurine Street around 3:00 a.m.
“The front clerk told officers that Nichols walked in and handed him a note demanding money.
“But, officials say he got more than he bargained for when instead of money the clerk pulled out a hand gun and threatened Nichols who then ran away.”
He was arrested later after trying to hold up a Whataburger. Read more here.
