- Texas Boy Arrested Because of Zero Tolerance Policies not Islamophobia – no, he was arrested by police officers who are unclear as to their role in society. The Irving PD spokesman claimed the boy was arrested because he wouldn’t explain things to them to their satisfaction. Yet the boy answered the pertinent question that his device was a clock and police had zero evidence that it was anything else. Thus they made an arrest based on suspicion, which is illegal. And, they admittedly had no evidence upon which to base a charge of any crime but were mad that the frightened boy did not go on and on telling them what they wanted to hear.
