“A homeowner fired a handgun at two men who were trying to steal tires off his SUV early Wednesday in Red Bird.
“Officers responded to the call around 3:12 a.m. at a house in the 4000 block of Old Glory Drive near S. Westmoreland Road. A man found two people trying to take the tires off his 1991 GMC and shot at them, police said,” the Dallas Morning News reported. Read more here.
