“According to Abilene police reports, a young male approached another man outside a residence on the 2100 block of Yorktown Drive and tried to grab stuff out of his pockets.
“The suspect didn’t succeed in getting anything because the victim punched him, stopping the attack and prompting the suspect to pull out a gun, fire several rounds, then run away.”
