Lubbock police sergeant arrested, resigns

via press release:

On April 8, 2015, we received a criminal complaint on one of our officers alleging that he exposed himself to a female while off-duty. A criminal investigation was immediately started. That investigation established probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant.

Sergeant Brian O’Dell Burt, 40, resigned today and was then arrested at 6:35 p.m. this evening at the Lubbock Police Department. He was transported and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center.

Brian Burt started with LPD in February of 1999.
