The agency needs to go away, it is the most consistent ethics violation in Texas. The connected get slap on the wrist fines all in closed hearings which those political folk pay with campaign cash (why not settle on all without admitting guilt when you can pay with other people’s money.) While on the other hand, well meaning involved citizens get abused and fined even when the record shows (more often than you’d think), time after time, that they did all in good faith and did all they could do to comply with the rules.
