Dallas – The Exxon station manager told police that two men were lingering at an Exxon station on East Illinois Avenue near Bonnie View Road at about 11:25 p.m. Once the store emptied, he said they told the clerk they had a gun and began assaulting him.
Police said the manager then grabbed a gun and shot both people.
