Rep. Drew Springer announces town hall forums

MUENSTER, TEXAS – Today, State Representative Drew Springer announced a series of town hall forums on September 30th with stops in Wheeler, Shamrock, Wellington, Memphis, Childress and Quanah.

At the forums, Rep. Springer will discuss the his upcoming legislative agenda for the 84th Session. This will be an excellent time for constituents to ask questions, add input, and keep informed over Rep. Springer’s interim activity.

“During my campaign, I promised to keep the constituents of House District 68 informed of the legislative process. Any input I receive is critical in the legislation I support for rural Texas,” said Rep. Springer. “My goal is to have an opportunity for every constituent in the district to have the opportunity to make personal contact with me before the 84th Session begins, whether that be through town halls, phone, or email.”

Springer will kick off the tour by joining Senator Kel Seliger at 9:30AM at the Wheeler County Courthouse in Wheeler, Texas and make his last stop in First Capital Bank of Quanah at 5:00PM that afternoon.

Below is the complete tour schedule for September 30th :

  • 9:30AM-10:30AM: Wheeler, TX – Wheeler County Courthouse – District Courtroom (With Sen. Seliger).
  • 11:00AM – 12:00PM: Shamrock, TX – City Hall Annex, 114 W. 2nd St.
  • 12:30PM -1:30PM: Wellington, TX – Collingsworth County Courthouse, 800 West Ave- District Courtroom.
  • 2:00PM -3:00PM: Memphis, TX – Hall County Courthouse, 512 W. Main St.- County Courtroom.
  • 3:30PM -4:30PM: Childress, TX – Childress County Courthouse, -District Courtroom.
  • 5:00PM -6:00PM: Quanah, TX – First Capital Bank of Quanah Community Room, 120 W. 3rd St.
