Women are abusive & sexual aggressors too

Pratt on TexasDid you see the results of research from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU) where a longitudinal study of dating violence was done?

“Overall, fewer teens are reporting experiencing physical abuse from their dating partners, with five per cent of teens reporting dating violence in 2013, down from six per cent in 2003. However, the researchers found 5.8 per cent of boys and 4.2 per cent of girls said they had experienced dating violence in the past year,” the researchers report.

“When it comes to teen dating violence, boys are more likely to report being the victim of violence—being hit, slapped, or pushed—than girls,” the lead sentence of the university’s press report read.

…let us think about how opposite this research data is from the widely held view… that males are always the mean, abusive aggressors and females blameless victims.

Some may be quick to conclude that boys may have been “slapped” by girls for good reason but, let us think about how opposite this research data is from the widely held view, a view pushed hard by the political Left too, that males are always the mean, abusive aggressors and females blameless victims.

I’ve long understood this. I was, in my mind at least, a popular person in school and had many so-called girlfriends from grade school forward and I can say, with far more precise memory than these destroy-conservative women who have popped up in Washington, that in most cases from elementary school through early adulthood, that the girls were the aggressors.

Is such the case all the time with all people?

No, and while my experiences are not about what I thought of as abuse, this study data shows that what the victimhood-loving Left wants us to think, along with my own experience, is not reality. Women can be abusive and aggressive as much, and even more so, than males at times.
