Yesterday's A-J (print) section "On our Sites" and "Opinions From You" had a comment taken from their online edition's commentaries on the gun ruling article by Logan Carver. There were lots of comments, some fairly intelligent, some pretty stupid. But the one they printed was from someone named "Duckie" who posted:
However it is a Privilege to carry outside your property. This privilege is given to qualified individuals through the State Cancel Handgun License process. Just like driving a car is not a right but a privilege given to you by the state.
I sorta scratched my head . . . State Cancel Handgun License process? Then it hit me. Duckie must be a product of the LISD. Of course. "Can" pronounced "con", and "cel" pronounced "seal," and that's it. Cancel is Conceal. Everybody should know that. The spelling problem could cause him some difficulties. As could his lack of understanding of Constitutional rights in this country.
