Pratt,
The pharmacy does not make much sense - poor location, competing with
taxpayers, etc. Is it true that LISD owns and operates the shopping center that
includes the Post Office, the pawn shop next door and the apartment building (Woodscape)
directly in front of Coronado High School? If so how do they justify it? Why are
board members able to do so much business with the school system? It sounds
profitable to be a school board member with LISD. Why hasn't the paper or
another news outlet looked into the business transactions of board members with
LISD? How long has this been happening? How much money are these people getting?
It sounds like we need some new board members.
Is there anyone in-the-know at LISD that will give you the real story?
