Just a thanks for reading the FrontPage Magazine interview with Andrew Klavan the other evening. It was wonderful to hear a conservative intellectual put things so eloquently. My wife and I listened while preparing dinner, smiling and nodding the whole time.
As Klavan noted, all of the truly thoughtful commentators out there appear to hold the conservative viewpoint. After your broadcast, my optimism was renewed... maybe our side actually has a chance in the culture war. You also demonstrated the great power of your radio format. Where else would someone have READ on air an entire published interview, consuming a half hour of broadcast time? It was sure worth it. The same thing goes for your thorough treatment of local issues.
Nobody else is doing it. Most other broadcast and print formats - local and national - just give thoughtless ten-second sound bites, flipping from one story to another without ever actually delving into anything deeply enough to provide an informed perspective.
