Hi Robert,

I am NOT impressed with LP&L buying X-cell energy. I am one of their customers (X-cell) and am on a monthly equal payment plan. I do not want to lose this!

I am not very impressed with monopolies!!

Is this a 'done deal' ?? If so why was there no in-put from the 'citizen owners' of LP&L??

Pratt responds:

The last sentence points out the problem with the idea that LP&L is somehow different because it "belongs to us". We have no say and no power, pardon the pun. If it were a Co-op we could go to annual meetings and vote and elect our own board of directors.
