Read David Spears letter in the AJ: "Several reasons not to give traffic cameras more time"

Dear Robert -

The A-J printed my letter on Sunday, but I'm still frustrated by my inability to express the reasons the cameras should be removed. 250 words is not very much. And the quotes from the CTC about why they want to give the cameras more time are frustrating. Anyway, my main points are:

1. The CTC and ATS cannot be objective. Our Committee is.
2. It's about Safety, and it's not working.
3. It's about City-Wide Driver Behavior, not just at camera lights
4. The results have been expensive as far as property damage.
5. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is Insanity.
