The Houston Chronicle reports: “Gunfire broke out around 7:20 p.m. on Veenstra near Fulton [in Houston,] when a homeowner allegedly found a drunk man on his property. The homeowner told the man to leave, but he kept coming back and trying to break through the front door. At one point, he charged at the homeowner with a blunt object, police said.
“Eventually, according to authorities, the homeowner allegedly got a gun and shot the would-be intruder.
