When will Jorge Ramos & others in U.S. media start labeling Mexicans as they do Americans?

Pratt on Texas - copyright Pratt on Texas all rights reservedAbout this time a month ago I asked: “Are Mexican’s Nazi-like “nationalist” bigots?” I pointed out that if the arguments used against the American people by their own media practitioners are consistent, then it’s not just those of us who believe in law and order when it comes to immigration who are Nazi-like racists and bigots here, it is also many of those lovely folks who live in Mexico.

This was prompted by Mexicans protesting the illegal aliens in the caravans by shouting “Mexico First” and telling the mobs of Central Americans to go home. I pointed out also that in Mexico you would be hard pressed to find any issue, political or social, that is not covered from a “nationalist” point of view by both politicians and the country’s media. Mexico is about as “nationalist” a country as you can find.

That brings us to this recent news reported by the Associated Press: “…Mexico’s top security official said the government will close off illegal entries at its southern border with Guatemala… Interior Secretary Olga Sanchez Cordero said the new administration will end the practice of undocumented or illegal crossings over the Suchiate River, which marks much of the border between Mexico and Guatemala.”

“In the south there will be only one entry, on the bridge,” she said. “Anyone who wants to enter illegally, we are going to say: ‘Get in line and you can enter our country.'”

So I ask Jorge Ramos, that useful propaganda idiot on Univision, and the rest of media practitioners here: Are you going to start branding Mexicans in the same way you brand your fellow Americans with whom you disagree on borders and immigration?
