On the biggest issue before us, Roy Moore is most succinctly correct

Pratt on TexasYou may, or may not, like, dislike, respect or disrespect Alabama’s Roy Moore who is in a desperate fight to beat a far Leftist radical for a seat in the United States Senate.

In a speech this week Moore said: “It may seem odd, after having served the public and the state of Alabama for 40 years and my military service in the Army, going back beyond at West Point, never once has anyone ever stated anything like what we’ve heard in the last three and a half weeks.”

And yet, I understand many may choose to believe the vicious attacks on Moore that are designed to destroy his reputation on the eve of an election to the U.S. Senate.

No matter your thoughts on Moore’s suitability for office, there is a reason he is the nominee of Republican Party in his state and beat the appointed incumbent backed fully by the DC establishment. Roy Moore understands and clearly expresses the real battle in which we find ourselves as a culture.

About his Leftist Democrat opponent and answers the man gave in an interview with The Economist, Moore rightly and perfectly summed up where we stand versus the opposition:

“Let me translate to you what he just told you: If your Christian culture does not accept abortion, same-sex marriage, sodomy, transgender rights in schools and in the military, then by definition you are discriminatory and will not be protected…”

This is the message of not only the cultural and political Left but the so-called moderates within the Republican Party, even here in Texas. We are told that we must abandon our traditional moral values and Christian teaching or else.

The “or else” point Moore so well understands and distills is that if you do not cave to the Left you will effectively lose your rights and will be classified as some type of secondary citizen.

This isn’t speculation, it is already well underway evidenced by everything from florists and bakers being put out of business to traditionalists being pushed out of careers in higher education and other vanguards of the Leftist culture.

You may or may not like Moore but in this point he is as succinctly correct about what is happening to us as any person has been.

What do you think?...
