Democrats provide free circus at Texas Capitol

One fun thing about the first called session of the Texas Legislature which began Tuesday is the theater of malcontented useful idiots being turned out by leftist Democrat front organizations.

“More than 350 people called together by a coalition of social advocacy groups and Democratic-leaning political organizations rallied on the south steps of the state Capitol on Tuesday, the first day of the special legislative session,” reported the Austin American-Statesman.

You can bet that throughout the called session we’ll see group after group, mob after mob, flamboyantly boasting same color t-shirts and bedecked with stickers and signs making it clear they are present to be noticed.

Sadly in a sartorial sense, that description well applies to many non-mob-like conservative groups too but the big and obvious differentiator is usually not visual but comes in the audio spectrum. The liberal protestors are generally loud and often unruly as all saw the last day of the 85th regular session or back with Wendy Davis’ stand to have more babies murdered at Planned Parenthood.

The circus of leftist mobs organized for the Texas Capitol bring more than laughable dress and behavior, they provide silly copy for the press too.

Take this quote in the Statesman from one so-called Reverend Cameron Anderson who claims it is a transgender woman, whatever that is, about the Privacy Act:

“This bill is about them using us — tokenizing us — to get gain. This bill does not only not protect me as a trans-identified, does not protect us as gender non-conforming people … it gives permission for hate crime.”

Really?

Sadly moderates, week-minded Republicans, and much of the media take such silly and hyperbolic statements seriously no matter how factually off-base.

My guess is many voters are simply bemused by the statements as well as most of those mouthing such.
