Save the sentiment Juncker, Merkel, et al

The West needs sober policy changes more than sentiment.

In Manchester, the second largest city in England, a suicide mass murderer targeted innocent people leaving a concert.

Predictably world leaders immediately released statements of condolence and solidarity which, in and of itself is fine, but in the larger picture should infuriate.

According to press reports the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and President of the European Council Donald Tusk offered their sympathies over Twitter.

The newly elected French president  Macron ‘learnt with horror and shock about the attack that occurred yesterday evening,’ his office said in a statement.

The French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe condemned the attack as ‘the most cowardly terrorism’ that was aimed ‘specifically and knowingly’ at young people.

And you have Germany’s  Chancellor Angela Merkel, the real boss behind the EU, expressing shock and sorrow, promising to fight people who commit such inconceivable deeds. “I assure the people of Britain: Germany stands at your side,” she said.

…they are the very people who have demanded the policies which have made the Islamic assault on Europe possible.

Really?

While I’m sure these folk are personally upset at what has happened, over and over, they are the very people who have demanded the policies which have made the Islamic assault on Europe possible.

These are the people who have publicly maligned, marginalized, and in some cases pressed legal cases against those in Europe who have dared point out the direct relationship between floods of uncontrolled immigration of Muslims and festering ghettos of hate spawning killers.

Results, in this case human lives, are what matter.

Save the sentimental twaddle and change your policies EU, Germany, France and the rest. The West needs sober policy changes more than sentiment.
