Our Federal policing has been turned upside down

Do you need any more evidence that our Federal Government has been turned upside down and law enforcement become the suborning of lawlessness than the latest videos from Breitbart Texas?

Breitbart’s Brandon Darby and Ildefonso Ortiz intercepted forty three illegal aliens “in various groups in less than two hours” as they were crossing from Mexico into Texas. The duo recorded video interviews with people coming here illegally and the most striking thing about these people was that they were seeking out the Border Patrol as opposed to hiding from it.

“After that group left, more kept arriving and walking past as they sought Border Patrol agents to process and release them so they could reach their intended destinations,” was one telling sentence in the story. Then there was this about another group: “The group continued walking north trying to find Border Patrol agents.”

…Americans should be appalled and angry that our Border Patrol is seen… as an aid to their efforts as opposed to an impediment.

Many of those shown would elicit sympathy and compassion from most of us but we should have another emotion for the situation that their actions demonstrate: Our expensive border enforcement apparatus, at a practical level, is not being used by the government to retard or stop illegal immigration but to make it easier.

If that were not the case, these folks traveling from Central America to cross into our country illegally would not be looking for the Border Patrol to take them into custody so they can be released and find their illegal journey across the country even easier.

No matter what you think those crossing illegally, all Americans should be appalled and angry that our Border Patrol is seen, by the more informed aliens, as an aid to their efforts as opposed to an impediment.
