Alleged bread thief shot by delivery driver in Lubbock

Lubbock police said a man in a Bimbo Bakeries bread truck was making a delivery and a suspect then got into the back of the truck and took items.  As the suspect was coming back – presumably to take more items – the driver told the suspect to stop.  When the suspect did not stop, the driver pulled out a concealed handgun for which he was licensed to carry.  Police said when the suspect still did not stop approaching the truck the driver shot the suspect in the leg. The injuries to the suspect were not life-threatening.
