TX19: Absurd flipping of reality by Arrington

Can the race for Texas’ 19th Congressional District become any more absurd?

We’ve lifelong political and Washington, DC-insider Jodey Arrington claiming his opponent has Washington, DC values because he has disclosed to voters Arrington’s DC-insider record. His opponent, Glen Robertson, is a local self-made businessman who has never been a paid political operative and never been part of the DC-machine as has Arrington!

Arrington is attempting flip reality in a ludicrous manner and paint the political outsider, Robertson, as the insider on the basis that Robertson’s disclosing of Arrington’s DC-insider record to voters is somehow the practice of Washington, DC values!

That backwards argument matches up with other absurdities of the Arrington campaign. The thrice-married candidate spins himself as the most Bible-believing and moral among us yet has lived a life many would see as utterly un-Biblical in practice.

Arrington is attempting flip reality in a ludicrous manner and paint the political outsider, Robertson, as the insider on the basis that Robertson’s disclosing of Arrington’s DC-insider record to voters is somehow the practice of Washington, DC values!

Arrington backed out of debating his opponent Glen Robertson at an event hosted by College Republicans but then arranged to do essentially the same event when Tech Student Democrats were involved – in a Republican primary election in which he’s asking for Republicans to nominate him as their candidate for November!

And then you get the latest Arrington for Congress message: It doesn’t matter if all the charges against me are true, my opponent is an SOB for telling you about them.

It is all truly absurd but many of your neighbors will buy it all – if you don’t tell them the truth.

An active Mayor is now considered a “political outsider?”

Spending five to six years in DC is now considered a “lifelong DC insider?”

Ad hominem personal attacks questioning a man’s faith?

This is not political commentary, this is character assassination. Attacks and fallacies like these are the primary reasons Glen is going to lose this race.
