How do you like this for hutzpah? A former Corpus Christi King High School teacher and coach, one Tanya Ramirez, who was convicted on a charge of having an inappropriate relationship with a student, has filed a lawsuit against the student who was a minor at the time of the lurid incident!

“The New York Daily News reported Tanya Ramirez, a 31-year-old former teacher and coach at King High School, claims in a lawsuit that the student caused her emotional distress by filming them during sex in 2014, sharing the video with friends and allowing it to be posted to YouTube.

Ramirez took advantage of her position over a minor, had sex with that minor in violation of not only the law but basic morality, and now, is suing the victim of her crime because his filming of her crime has caused her emotional distress!

“The student later provided the cellphone recording to the police showing Ramirez bent over with a tattoo on her lower back.

“You can’t have sex with someone and film it without their knowledge, and post it on the Internet,” Amie Pratt [no relation thankfully], a lawyer for Ramirez, told the Daily News,” according to a summary in the San Antonio Express News.

And here we see an example of someone who may serve her full sentence of seven years probation but who does not accept responsibility for her wrongdoing. Ramirez took advantage of her position over a minor, had sex with that minor in violation of not only the law but basic morality, and now, is suing the victim of her crime because his filming of her crime has caused her emotional distress!

Add to this absurdity that she got away with not registering as a sex offender in her plea deal and that there is apparently a second case against her for which she may not have yet been adjudicated and you have hutzpah indeed – as well as moral bankruptcy.
