Sent to Whataburger management:
Everyone has the right to believe they way they want in America. I however do not have to support them with my money. Here is the letter I wrote to Whataburger after they caved to politically correct misinformation and fear mongering.
You sell burgers not social stances. You should stick to what you do best.
Whataburger: I had my first job as a teen with Whataburger. Had a terrible boss. He made us clock out and finish our night time clean up if he thought we took to long getting out. Did I call him terrible? I should have called it a law suit. Too young to know back then. Fast forward my husband and I ate a lot of chicken sandwiches while our son was on NICU. Always liked the Whataburger taste…until the taste you all left in my mouth with your announcement.
People die in car crashes. Are you banning your drive-ups?
Your political stance on guns is unnecessary except to insert your company into the liberal narrative of the conversation. You sell burgers not social stances. You should stick to what you do best. We live in Texas. We value our Constitution and 1st Amendment rights. We will never darken your doors again. You have the right to believe what you want but you have started pushing a PC social agenda now. You should not have caved to the pressure from liberal communists. We are never buying another thing from you all. Do you want the police to leave their guns in the car next time you call them? Guns don’t kill people anymore than any other inanimate object does. People die in car crashes. Are you banning your drive-ups?
